Elections

The Hickman County Clerk Voter Registration Department performs a wide variety of duties related to the election process. We are responsible for registering voters, keeping the voter registrations up-to-date, providing voting locations, recruiting poll workers for election day, maintaining and securing the voting machines, and providing election results once the election process is complete.

Election Day – May 21st, 2024

Absentee Voting by Mail

Registration Deadline – April 22 at 4:00PM

Absentee Voting by Mail will be from April 6 – May 7, 2024. You may request an absentee ballot by applying online at elect.ky.gov or by calling the Hickman County Clerk’s Office at (270) 653-2131.

**Mail-in ballots can be mailed back to our office at 110 E. Clay St, Ste E Clinton, KY 42031 or brought back to our office and placed in the drop box located inside our office at 110 E. Clay St, Ste E Clinton, KY 42031.


Walk-In Absentee Voting

Walk-In Absentee Voting will be held inside the Hickman County Clerk’s Office at 110 E. Clay St, Ste E Clinton, KY 42031 from May 8-10 and 13-15, 2024, 8:30AM-4:30PM (6 business days).


Early Voting

Early Voting will take May 16-18, 2024, 8:30AM-4:30PM at the Hickman County Extension Office located at 329 James H. Phillips Dr. Clinton, KY 42031.
